Intel Arc G3 Extreme

Az Intel Arc G3 Extreme egy gyors, középkategóriás SoC, amely a Panther Lake családból származó 14 maggal rendelkezik, és kézi eszközökhöz készült. A chip emellett egy nagy teljesítményű, 12 magos iGPU-val is rendelkezik.

Jellemzők

Az Arc G3 Extreme az Intel új 18A-es gyártási eljárásával készült számítási modult tartalmaz. Ez 2 nagy, akár 4,7 GHz-es Cougar Cove P-magot, 8 Darkmont E-magot és 4 kis (alacsony fogyasztású) Darkmont LP E-magot tartalmaz. Az új, 46 TOPS INT8 teljesítményű NPU 5 és egy IPU-7.5 képfeldolgozó processzor is be van építve. A beépített memóriavezérlő legfeljebb 96 GB LPDDR5(X)-8533 memóriát támogat.

A GPU-modul tartalmaz egy nagy teljesítményű iGPU-t, az Intel Arc B390 nevű, nagy teljesítményű iGPU-t, amely mind a 12 Xe3 magot tartalmazza és támogatja a sugárkövetést. Az Arc G3-ban azonban a GPU órajele 2,3 GHz.

A harmadik chiplet integrálja a platformvezérlőt 12 PCIe sávval, 4x Thunderbolt 4-gyel, Wi-Fi 7 (R2)-vel és Bluetooth Core 6.0-val. A platformvezérlőt a TSMC gyártja.

Teljesítmény

Tesztjeinkben a CPU teljesítménye kissé elmarad az Intel Core Ultra 5 338H (12 mag, de 4 nagy teljesítményű, akár 4,7 GHz-es P-maggal) teljesítményétől. Különösen az egy szálas teljesítmény marad kissé el. Az AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme-hez, amely szintén hordozható eszközökhöz készült, az Arc G3 Extreme tesztjeinkben 6%-kal előzi meg.

Az Arc G3 Extreme TDP-je 15 és 25 watt között mozog (Processor Base Power), és rövid ideig elérheti a 80 wattot is (Maximum Turbo Power).
