Intel i7-14700HX

Az Intel Core i7-14700HX az új Raptor Lake architektúrán alapuló csúcskategóriás CPU, amely a nagy és nehéz noteszgépek számára készült. A CPU a Raptor Lake HX frissítés részeként 2024 elején került bevezetésre. Az i7-14700HX hasonló a Core i7-13850HX Core i7-13850HX-hez, csak valamivel magasabb órajelű CPU-magokkal.

Az összesen 28 szál a már az Alder Lake-ből ismert P-magokra és E-magokraoszlik . A 13700HX 8 teljesítménymagot (P-magok) kínál hiperszálazással és 12 hatékonysági magot (E-magok) hiperszálazás nélkül. Összesen tehát 28 szál van támogatva. A P-magok akár 5,5 GHz-es órajelen (egy mag), az E-magok pedig 3,9 GHz-en óraműtenek. Az integrált memóriavezérlő maximum 5600 MHz-es DDR5-öt támogat.

Az Alder Lake-hez képest az új Raptor Lake architektúra jobb P-magokat (Raptor Cove architektúra több gyorsítótárral), több E-magot (ugyanaz a Gracemont architektúra) és magasabb órajeleket kínál a továbbfejlesztett Intel 7 processzornak köszönhetően. Ezenkívül az Intel a csúcsmodellekben már támogatja a gyorsabb DDR5-ös főmemóriát (akár 5600 MHz).

A 13700HX az Intelnél régebbi, 10 nm-es FinFET eljárással készül (Intel 7-es eljárás), és 55 wattos alapteljesítménnyel és 157 wattos turbóteljesítménnyel specifikálják.
