Apple M6

A 12 magos Apple M6 egy SoC az Apple laptopjaihoz, táblagépeihez és PC-ihez. Ez jelenti a TSMC 2 nm-es (N2) csomópontjának debütálását a fogyasztói hardverek területén, és három klaszterben 12 magot integrál. Az előzetes információk szerint a két nagy teljesítményű szupermag órajele akár 4,8 GHz is lehet. Az Apple M5-höz képest az M6 két 16-magos neurális motorral rendelkezik, ami jelentősen javítja a készüléken belüli mesterséges intelligencia teljesítményét.

Az első Geekbench-tesztek a régi, 14-magos Apple M4 Pro SoC-hoz hasonló CPU-teljesítményt mutatnak.

A SoC megtartja az egységes memóriát, és jelenleg 16, 24 vagy 32 GB 128-bites LPDDR5X memóriával érhető el. A memória sávszélessége 153 és 170 GB/s között mozog. Az integrált 12-magos GPU magonkénti neurális gyorsítókkal rendelkezik.

Az új 2 nm-es gyártási technológiának köszönhetően a SoC várhatóan kiváló energiahatékonyságot nyújt.
