Intel i7-1160G7

Az Intel Core i7-1160G7 egy energiatakarékos négymagos SoC laptopok és ultrabookok számára, amely a 2020 szeptemberében bemutatott Tiger Lake-U generáción (UP4) alapul. Négy Willow Cove processzormagot (a HyperThreadingnek köszönhetően 8 szálat) integrál. Mindegyik mag 1,2 GHz (alapsebesség) és 4,4 GHz (1 magos boost) közötti órajelre képes. Az összes mag egyszerre akár 3,6 GHz-es órajelre is képes. A bejelentés időpontjában az i7-1185G7 az UP4 alacsony fogyasztású sorozat leggyorsabb modellje.

További újdonság a teljesen új Gen 12 architektúrán alapuló integrált Xe grafikus kártya. Ez a régebbi Iris Plus G7-hez (Ice Lake) képest jelentősen nagyobb teljesítményt hivatott nyújtani. Az i7-1160G7-ben 96 EU-t használ, és 400-1100 MHz-es órajelen működik. A GPU és a CPU együttesen használhatja a 12 MB L3 gyorsítótárat.

A Tiger Lake SoC-k továbbá PCIe 4 támogatással (négy sáv), AI hardveres gyorsítással, valamint a Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 és Wi-Fi 6 részleges integrációjával bővülnek a chipben.

A chip az Intel továbbfejlesztett 10 nm+ eljárással (SuperFin néven) készül, amely a TSMC 7 nm-es eljárásához (pl. Ryzen 4000-es sorozat) hasonlíthatónak kell lennie.

Az UP4 sorozat működési tartományát 7 és 15 Watt között adják meg. Ezért a processzor jól alkalmazható nagyon vékony és könnyű laptopokba, átalakítható számítógépekbe vagy táblagépekbe.
