Intel Core i7-1165G7
Az Intel Core i7-1165G7 egy energiahatékony, négymagos SoC laptopok és Ultrabookok részére. A Tiger-Lake-U generáción alapszik (UP4), amely 2020 szeptemberében volt bemutatva. Négy Willow Cove processzormagot integrál (nyolc szál a Hyper-Threading-nek köszönhetően). Mindegyik mag órajele 2.8 GHz (garantált alapsebesség) és 4.7 GHz (egymagos turbó) között van. Az összes mag együttesen akár 4.1 GHz-es órajelre is képes. A bejelentés időpontjában a Core i7-1185G7 (+100 - 200 MHz) után az i7-1165G7 a második leggyorsabb modell a felállásban.
Egy másik újdonság az integrált Xe grafikus kártya, amely a teljesen új 12. generációs architektúrán alapszik. Várhatóan lényegesen nagyobb teljesítményt kínál a régebbi Iris Plus G7-hez (Ice Lake) képest. Az i7-1185G7-ben 96 EU-t használ, és az órajele 400-1300 MHz (-50 MHz kontra 1185G7) közötti. A GPU és CPU együtt használhatják az L3 cache 12 MB-ját.
Ezenkívül a Tiger Lake SoC-k most PCIe 4 támogatást (négy sáv), AI hardveres gyorsítást, és a chipbe részlegesen integrált Thunderbolt 4/USB-t 4 és WiFi 6-ot is beépítenek.
A chip a továbbfejlesztett 10nm+ eljárással (SuperFin néven) van gyártva az Intel-nél, amely a TSMC 7 nm-es eljárásához hasonló (pl. Ryzen 4000 sorozat).
Az UP3 sorozat működési tartománya 12 és 28 watt között van meghatározva. A processzor ezért vékony és könnyű laptopokban is használható.
