AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
Az AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX a Cezanne generáción alapuló, nagy (játék)laptopokba szánt processzor. Az R9 5900H mind a nyolc magot a Zen 3 mikroarchitektúra alapján integrálja. Ezek 3,3 (garantált alapórajel) és 4,6 GHz (Turbo) közötti órajelen vannak, és összesen 16 szál SMT-t támogatnak. A chip a modern 7 nm-es TSMC-eljárásban készül. A névben szereplő "X" a CPU túlhajtási képességeit jelzi.
Az új Zen 3 mikroarchitektúra a Zen 2-höz képest jelentősen magasabb IPC-t (utasítás/órajel) kínál. Az asztali processzorok esetében az AMD átlagosan 19 százalékos növekedést állít, az alkalmazások tesztjei pedig 12% körüli növekedést mutattak ki azonos órajelen.
A Zen 3-nak köszönhetően megnövekedett órajel és az IPC javulása révén a Ryzen 9 5900HX-nek egyértelműen gyorsabbnak kell lennie az alacsonyabb órajelű Ryzen 9 4900H-nál.
A nyolc CPU-mag mellett az APU egy Radeon RX Vega 8 integrált grafikus kártyát is integrál 8 CU-val és akár 2100 MHz-es órajelen. A kétcsatornás memóriavezérlő támogatja a DDR4-3200 és az energiatakarékos LPDDR4-4266 RAM memóriát. Továbbá 16 MB 3-as szintű gyorsítótár is található a lapkán.
Az APU TDP-je 45 Wattban van megadva (alapértelmezett), és a laptop gyártója 35 és 54 Watt között konfigurálhatja.
