Az Intel Core i5-12450H egy csúcskategóriás mobil CPU laptopok számára, amely az Alder Lake architektúrán alapul. A 2022 elején jelentették be, és a 6 teljesítményű magból 4-et (P-magok, Golden Cove architektúra) és a 8 hatékony magból 4-et (E-magok, Gracemont architektúra) kínál, ami összesen 8 magot eredményez (okta magos CPU). A P-magok támogatják a Hyper-Threading technológiát, ami az E-magokkal együtt 12 támogatott szálat eredményez. Az órajelek 2 és 4,4 GHz között mozognak a teljesítőképes fürtön és 1,5 és 3,3 GHz között a hatékony fürtön. Az E-magok teljesítményének a régi Skylake-magokhoz kell hasonlónak lennie (vö Core i7-6700HQ ). Minden mag legfeljebb 12 MB L3 gyorsítótárat használhat. Összehasonlítva a 12500H , a 12450H kevesebb E-magot, alacsonyabb órajeleket, lassabb iGPU-t és vPro-támogatást kínál.
Az Ön mérföldszáma attól függően változhat, hogy milyen magasak a CPU teljesítményhatárai, és mennyire kompetens a rendszer hűtési megoldása.
Az integrált memóriavezérlő különböző memóriatípusokat támogat DDR5-4800, DDR4-3200, LPDDR5-5200 és LPDDR4x-4267 memóriáig. A szálirányító (hardveresen) támogathatja az operációs rendszert abban, hogy eldöntse, melyik szálat használja a teljesítményt vagy a hatékony magokon a legjobb teljesítmény érdekében. A mesterséges intelligencia feladatokhoz a CPU a GNA 3.0-t és a DL Boostot is integrálja (az AVX2-n keresztül). A Quick Sync a 8-as verzióban ugyanaz, mint a Rocket Lake CPU-kban, és hardveresen támogatja az MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 dekódolást, JPEG, VP8 dekódolást, VP9, HEVC és AV1 dekódolást. A CPU csak a PCIe 4.0-t támogatja (x8 a GPU-hoz és két x4 az SSD-khez).
Az integrált grafikus adapter az Xe-architektúrán alapul, és a 96 EU (Execution Unit) közül 48 darab, akár 1,2 GHz-es órajelen működő egységet kínál.
A CPU 45 W alapteljesítményre van méretezve (95 W PL2), de a legtöbb laptop 60 Watt körüli PL1 teljesítményt használ. A SoC az Intelnél 10 nm-es eljárással készül, amely Intel 7 néven ismert.
