Intel i5-11400H

Az Intel Core i5-11400H egy csúcskategóriás hatmagos SoC, amely játékra szánt laptopok és mobil munkaállomások számára készült. A Tiger Lake H45 generáción alapul, és 2021 közepén jelentették be. Hat Willow Cove processzormagot integrál (12 szál a HyperThreadingnek köszönhetően). Az alap órajel a TDP-beállítástól függ, 45 wattos teljesítménynél 2,7 GHz-en van. Az egyetlen mag boost sebessége elérheti a 4,5 GHz-et, az összes mag 4,1 GHz-ig. A CPU 12 MB 3-as szintű gyorsítótárat kínál, és támogatja a DDR4-3200-as memóriát.

Az új Tiger Lake architektúrának köszönhetően az i5-11400H egy- és többszálas teljesítményben gyorsabbnak kell lennie a régi Intel Core i7-10850H-nál (Comet Lake-H, 6 mag, 2,7 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3), és hasonlóan a Ryzen 5 5600H-hoz (Zen 3, 6 mag, 3,3 - 4,4 GHz, 16 MB L3). Az i5 tehát még a nagyon igényes feladatokra is jól használható.

A SoC tartalmazta a továbbfejlesztett Xe grafikus kártyát is, amelyet UHD grafikának hívnak, mind a 32 EU-val.

A Tiger Lake SoC-k továbbá PCIe 4 támogatással (20 sáv a H45 sorozatban), AI hardveres gyorsítással, valamint a Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 és a Wi-Fi 6E részleges integrációjával bővültek a chipben.

A lapka az Intel továbbfejlesztett 10 nm-es (10 nm-es SuperFin nevű) eljárásában készül, amely a TSMC 7 nm-es eljárásához (pl. Ryzen 4000-es sorozat) hasonlónak kell lennie. Az alapértelmezett TDP 2,7 GHz-es alapsebességnél 45 W-ra van értékelve, 35 Wattnál az alap órajel 2,2 GHz-re csökken (cTDP lefelé).
