Intel Pentium Gold 7505

Az Intel Pentium Gold 7505 (vagy 7505U) a 2020 harmadik negyedévében bejelentett Tiger Lake-U generáción alapuló, energiatakarékos, kétmagos SoC laptopokba és ultrabookokba. Két Willow Cove processzormagot (a HyperThreadingnek köszönhetően 4 szálat) integrál, amelyek 2-3,5 GHz-es órajelen (15 wattos TDP mellett) működnek.

További újdonság az integrált Xe grafikus kártya, amely a teljesen új Gen 12 architektúrán alapul. Ez a régebbi UHD Graphics G1 (Ice Lake) grafikus kártyához képest jelentősen nagyobb teljesítményt kell, hogy nyújtson.

A Tiger Lake-be várhatóan más, Ice Lake-ből származó fejlesztések is beépülnek, mint például az AI hardveres gyorsítás és a Thunderbolt és a Wifi 6 részleges integrálása a chipbe.

A chip az Intel továbbfejlesztett 10 nm+ eljárással (10 nm SuperFin néven) készül, amely a TSMC 7 nm-es eljárásához (pl. Ryzen 4000-es sorozat) hasonlónak kell lennie.
