AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS
Az AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS a Phoenix sorozat gyors, csúcskategóriás laptopprocesszora. A Zen 4 architektúrán alapuló 8 magot (okta mag) kínál, amely támogatja a hyperthreadinget (16 szál). A magok órajele 4 (alap) GHz-től egészen 5,2 GHz-ig (egy magos boost) terjed. A processzor 8 MB L2 gyorsítótárat és 16 MB L3 gyorsítótárat tartalmaz.
Teljesítmény
Az adatbázisunkban szereplő 7940HS átlagosan ugyanabban a ligában játszik, mint a Core i9-12900HK és némileg csalódást keltő módon a Ryzen 7 7840HS , ami a többszálas benchmark pontszámokat illeti.
A tisztességes hűtési megoldásnak és a hosszú távú, 80 W-os CPU-teljesítményhatárnak köszönhetően a ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XY az általunk ismert leggyorsabb 7940HS köré épített laptopok közé tartozik. Körülbelül 15%-kal gyorsabb lehet CPU-alapú munkaterhelésben, mint az adatbázisunkban szereplő leglassabb, ugyanezt a chipet tartalmazó rendszer, 2023 augusztusában.
A chipbe egy modern és gyors RDNA 3 grafikus kártyát (iGPU) integráltak, az ún Radeon 780M 12 CU-val és akár 2,8 GHz-es órajellel. Továbbá a Phoenix sorozatban található egy AV1 de- és kódolású videomotor, egy új Xilinx FPGA alapú XDNA AI gyorsító (Ryzen AI), amely gyorsabbnak kell lennie, mint a Apple M2 SOC-ban lévő AI motor, valamint egy kétcsatornás DDR5-5600 / LPDDR5x-7500 memóriavezérlő (ECC támogatással). A csatlakoztathatósági jellemzők közé tartozik 2 lehetséges USB 4 (40 Gbps) port és 20 PCIe 4.0 sáv a GPU és az SSD-k számára.
A Phoenix sorozat egyetlen monolitikus kialakítást használ (ellentétben a 7045HX sorozat chiplet kialakításával), és a TSMC modern 4 nm-es eljárásával készül. A TDP 35 és 45 Watt között konfigurálható.
