NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Mobile

Az Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 a második leggyorsabb Pascal-alapú videokártya 2016 májusában és a felsőház tagja. A mobil változata szintén GeForce GTX 1070 névre hallgat, de több árnyalóval rendelkezik és alacsonyabb mag órajelen jár (a laptop változatról itt olvashat bővebben). A GTX 1080-hoz képest mindkét változat csonkított GP104-es lapkát használ és 16 nm-en készül a TSMC gyáraiban. A GTX1080-nál a GTX1070 kevesebb CUDA maggal gazdálkodhat (1920 vs. 2560) amik valamivel alacsonyabb órajelen járnak (maximum Boost 1683 vs. 1733). Az új GDDR5X memória helyett csak a lassabb GDDR5 grafikus memóriára támaszkodik, ám továbbra is 8 GB-ra. A TDP értéke is visszafogottabb, 150 Watt a 180 Watt helyett.

A GTX 1070-nek a játékok alatt nyújtott teljesítménye a régi GTX 980 Ti és a GTX 1080 között helyezkedik el. Nem lehetetlen tehát 4K-s felbontás és magas részletesség mellett játszani, valamit a VR sem jelent akadályt.
