To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A G752VS-BA338T a Kaby Lake-es változata az Asus 17 inches gaming laptop sorozatának. Az új Core i7-7700HQ processzor nem sokkal gyorsabb Skylake-es elődeinél. 

A Kaby Lake processzornak köszönhetően a gép energiatakarékosabb lett, amelynek hosszabb üzemidő az eredménye.

A CPU/GPU kombináció minden mai játékot képes Full HD felbontásban, magas-maximális részletességen futtatni. Az Nvidia G-Sync pedig biztosítja a sima képmegjelenítést a 120 Hz-es kijelzőn. A videokártyának még arra is elegendő a teljesítménye, hogy egy külső monitorral magasabb felbontásokat élvezhessünk.

Az izmos hardver ellenére a zaj nem túl durva. A hűtés pedig emellett is megfelelő. Az Asus egy igen gyors NVMe-SSD-t épített a laptopba, és még egy szabad slotunk is maradt egy második NVMe-SSD számára. A háttértár kapacitásról egy hagyományos, 2.5 inches merevlemez gondoskodik. A szervizfedélnek köszönhetően a meghajtók cseréje igen egyszerű.
