NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU
Az Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU (mobil, GN20-E6, Max-P, Max-Q) egy notebookokba szánt mobil grafikus kártya és az RTX 3070 frissítése. A 2021 elején a CES-en jelentették be, és ugyanarra a GA104 Ampere chipre épül, mint a régi RTX 3070 Laptop. A régi kártyához képest az újabb 15%-kal több shadert kínál, de kevesebb órajelet. Továbbra is 256 bites memóriabusszal és 8 GB GDDR6-os memóriával rendelkezik majd. Az RTX 3070ti különböző teljesítményű változatokban kapható, a 80 wattos TGP-től kezdve az 1035 MHz-es Boost órajelű 1035 wattos modellen át egészen a 125 wattos, 1485 MHz-es Boost órajelű modellekig.
Nincs már Max-Q változat (korábban az alacsony fogyasztású változatoknál használták), de minden OEM választhatja a Max-Q technológiák (Dynamic Boost, Whispermode) implementálását.
A teljesítmény a TGP-beállítástól és a laptop hűtésétől függ. Átlagosan valahol a régi RTX 3070 Mobile és az RTX 3080 Mobile között kell lennie (hasonló TDP beállítások mellett). Ezért a kártya leginkább QHD játékhoz alkalmas maximális részletességgel (olyan igényes játékokhoz, mint a Cyberpunk 2077). Az olyan kevésbé igényes játékok, mint a Farming Simulator 22 vagy a régebbi játékok szintén 4K-ban futhatnak max. részletesség beállításokkal.
A GA104 chip 6 144 FP32 ALU-t kínál, amelynek fele INT32 utasításokat is képes végrehajtani (azaz 3 072 INT32 ALU). Az RTX 3070 Ti azonban nem használja ki a chip összes ALU-ját. A Turinggal az összes shader még mindig FP32 vagy INT32 utasításokat hajthat végre. A chipen lévő raytracing és tensor magokat is fejlesztették az Nvidia szerint. Az RTX 3070 Ti mobil széria a 6144 magból 5888-at használ. Az Ampere chipek egy továbbfejlesztett 5. generációs videokódolót (NVENC a H.264 és H.265-hez) és egy 7. generációs dekódert (különböző formátumokhoz, immár az AV1-et is beleértve) is tartalmaznak.
A GA104-es chipet a Samsung 8 nm-es (8N) node-ban gyártja, ami nem igazán képes lépést tartani a TSMC 7 nm-es node-jával (amelyet például az AMD és a professzionális GA100-as Ampere chip is használ).
