Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A Redmi Note 5 a Xiaomi megfizethető, de nagy teljesítményű készülékeinek mintapéldánya, amely tökéletesen illusztrálja, hogy miért várják sokan azt, hogy Európában is széles körben kaphatóak legyenek a termékeik. A Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 egy megfizethető okostelefon, amely elég erős, jó az üzemideje, gyors 802.11 ac Wi-Fi-vel  és egy világos, kontrasztos kijelzővel van felszerelve, miközben az ára 240 (~$277) euró alatt marad. A hangszórója is jó, a hívásminősége elfogadható és a gyorstöltő funkciója is hasznos. A modern lapkakészletnek köszönhetően a Note 5 LTE sebességei viszonylag jók, támogatja a Bluetooth 5.0-t, és a jelenleg belátható jövőre nézve időtálló lehet.

Azért vannak hátrányai is. A színhőmérséklet, és a kékes színek nem túl jók, a lenyűgöző üzemidő ellenére viszonylag magas fogyasztás szintén nem. A MIUI alkalmazáskezelése olyan agresszív, hogy az már a kárára válik. Ez gondokat okozhat olyan appoknál, amelyeknek a háttérben kellene futniuk, viszont az áramfogyasztást leszoríthatja és javíthat az üzemidőn. A kamera az egyetlen olyan része a Note 5-nek, amely egyértelműen középkategóriás, de összességében elfogadható fotókat készít. A felületi hőmérséklet elég jó, de terhelés alatt melegedhetne kevésbé is.

A Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 nagyon megéri az árát. A készülék teljesítménye remek, és egyéb előnyei mellett egy világos kijelzővel is büszkélkedhet.

A Note 5 teljesítménye az árához képest kiemelkedő, gyakran a drágább riválisokat is lenyomja. A Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 már csak emiatt is ajánlott, kisebb hiányosságai ellenére.
