Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

“A különleges ízlés mindig kicsivel drágább.” Ez a szlogen teljesen igaz volt, amikor a Sony okostelefonok még Sony Ericsson Xperia-k voltak, és a mai, 430 dolláros készülék esetén ugyanez a helyzet. Alig 50-100 dollárral többért egy Honor View 10-et vagy OnePlus 5T-t kaphatunk, sokkal nagyobb számítási kapacitással, jobb test/kijelző aránnyal. Ugyanakkor a Sony hatalmas, és különösen világos 16:9 arányú, testre szabható kijelzője egy határozottan egyedi érv a készülék mellett.

A két előlapi szelfikamera nagyobb alkotói szabadságot ad, mert lehetőséget ad arra, hogy a hagyományos és a nagylátószögű felvétel között válasszunk, bár az utóbbi a szegélyeken zavaróan torzít. A fő kamera még mindig hihetetlen, és annak az élő bizonyítéka, hogy egy lencsével is lenyűgöző fotókat lehet készíteni. A készülék gyatra mikrofonja kiábrándító, főleg azok után, hogy a múltban a Sony telefonokata hangminőség miatt is dicsérhettük. A hangszóró viszont elég jó, a feltűnően pontos GPS pedig kellemes meglepetés. Az összbenyomáshoz hozzájárul a naprakész szoftver, valamint a jó kezelhetőség.

A Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra ugyan nem a legdivatosabb készülék, nem is a legolcsóbb, de mindent egybevetve egy elég lenyűgöző egészet alkot.

A mobilszolgáltatón keresztül beszerezve az Xperia XA2 Ultra ideális társa lehet azoknak, akik szeretnek szelfizni, és nincs szükségük csúcsteljesítményre. Nagy kijelzője és hosszú üzemideje dicséretet érdemel, de mi várnánk a beszerzésével, amíg az ára elfogadhatóbb szintre ereszkedik.
