Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Annak ellenére, hogy a HTC nem sokat változtatott a designon, az U11 mégis kifejezetten máshogy néz ki, mint a HTC 10 és a többi cég rivális készülékei, hála a különleges színválasztéknak és kiemelkedő anyaghasználatnak. Technikai szemszögből nézve, a telefon nagyon magas szintet képvisel, modern csúcsprocesszorral, és a kategóriájának megfelelő háttértárral. Az ár 50 eurós (~$58) emelkedése elég húzós, de az idei trendet követi.    

Bár sokáig a HTC egyik fő erőssége a hang volt, az U11 esetében ez már nem így van. Igen, a HTC komoly audio technológiát pakolt a telefonba, de igazából nem értjük, hogy miért váltottak USB-alapú audio csatlakozóra. Kár, pedig a mellékelt headset kiemelkedően jó. Azok pedig, akik a Bluetooth hangszórókat részesítik előnyben, csalódottak lesznek, mivel a telefon nem támogatja az aptX-et.

A HTC U11 szokatlan színeivel, kiváló kamerájával és kiemelkedő rendszerteljesítményével kényeztet minket. A telep üzemideje azonban lehetne jobb.

A HTC U11 csodás, jó minőségű fotókat készít, és a kategória aranyérmesét, a Galaxy S8-at is lemossa a pástról kevés fény esetén. Összességében viszont még így sem ez a kategória legjobb kamerája, mivel beállítási lehetőségek és video opciók terén nem tökéletes.

Az U11 viszonylag nagy, de így is csak egy 3000 mAh kapacitású telepet kapott. Egy nagyobb akku kellett volna bele szerintünk, mivel az üzemideje nem annyira jó, főleg a riválisokhoz képest. Mindent egybevetve azonban a HTC U11 egy kiemelkedően jó okostelefon.
