Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Az 5.1 inches Huawei P10-hez hasonlóan nem sok panaszunk van az 5.5 inches Huawei P10 Plus-ra sem. A P10 Plus ráadásul egy csomó felső kategóriás alkatrészt kapott - a hibátlanul összerakott háztól, az UFS 2.1 tárhelyen és LTE Cat.12-n át, a gyors HiSilicon Kirin 960 lapkakészletig van itt minden.

Kétségtelen, hogy a Huawei P10 Plus kiemelkedő prémium okostelefon. Ugyanakkor jobb konfigurációja ellenére sem sokkal húz el az olcsóbb Huawei P10-től.

A 600 eurós (~$646) P10-zel összehasonlítva kapunk némi extrát a hivatalos, 700 eurós (~$749) árért. Ilyen a 6 GB RAM, a 128 GB belső tárhely, az inkább WQHD, mint Full HD felbontás, valamint egy erősebb akku és egy kicsit jobb Leica kamerarendszer. Ezek miatt papíron a P10 Plus jobbnak tűnik, mint a P10, de gyakorlatban ezt nem igazán éreztük. A nyilvánvalóan nagyobb méret kivételével a különbségek majdnem teljesen elhanyagolhatók.

Ettől függetlenül ez még így is egy kiváló okostelefon, amelynek sajnos a gyengéi is közösek a Huawei P10-ével. Ezek a gyenge Wi-Fi modul, a terhelés alatti lefojtás, a túlméretes firmware és az a kérdés, hogy milyen belső tárhelyet kapunk a telefonnal. Úgy tűnik, hogy teljesen a szerencsén múlik, hogy a vásárló gyors UFS, vagy lassabb eMMC tárhellyel szerelt modellt kap.
