Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A Huawei nem ígért túl sokat: a P10 Lite valós alternatívája lehet a drága, majdnem 600 eurós (~$636), P10-nek. Felső kategóriás rokonához hasonlóan remekül összerakott, amelytől jelentősen drágábbnak néz ki jelenlegi, 350 euró körüli (~$371) áránál. Ugyan a P10 Lite nem a Huawei P10 Leica kameráját kapta, a 12 megapixeles kamera méltó helyettesnek bizonyult, ugyanis meglepően jó képeket csinál.

A világos kijelzőt, a gyors WLAN-t, az LTE Cat.6-ot, valamint a dual SIM lehetőségét (bár ehhez a microSD helyét kell feláldoznunk) is szerettük. A telep üzemideje hozza az elvárhatót, egy teljes napot gond nélkül kihúzhatunk vele.

Ha nem vágyunk mindenáron a Huawei P10 extra erős processzorára, és a Leica kamerára, érdemes elgondolkodnunk a Huawei P10 Lite-on. 350 eurós (~$371) árával ez a középkategóriás, 5.2 inches okostelefon a leginkább megfizethető a P10 sorozatból.

A Huawei spórolt az USB 2.0 porttal, amely régi micro USB csatlakozójával lehetővé teszi, hogy a kedvenc "Nem, most van fordítva..." játékunkat játsszuk. Sajnos az appok microSD-re mozgatása sem lehetséges, ami sajnálatos, főleg ha figyelembe vesszük: a különösen terjedelmes firmware 32 GB-ról 20 GB-ra csökkenti a belső tárhelyet. Legalább majdnem minden előre telepített app letakarítható, hogy nyerjünk némi helyet. A lapkakészlet teljesítményével szinte semmi gond nincs. "Szinte", mert amikor a Huawei P10 Lite-on játszani próbálunk, előfordulhat, hogy csak a részletesség csökkentése árán tudjuk elérni az akadásmentes futást.
