Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) jól összerakott okostelefon. Ugyanakkor nem ver rá annyit a versenytársaira, mint a Galaxy J5. Ez különösen az üzemidőnél észrevehető. Ez azonban csak a magasra tett léc miatt jön szóba, mivel az üzemideje amúgy nagyon jó. A nagyobb akku ellenére a tavalyi J7-nél gyengébben teljesít. Előfordulhat, hogy ezen a Samsung egy frissítéssel segíteni tud.

A Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) nem minden téren fejlődött. Ettől függetlenül egy kiváló okostelefon.

A Galaxy J7 (2017) remek Super-AMOLED kijelzőjével nagyot villantott, amelyet ráadásul - régóta szükséges lépésként - mostantól egy környezeti fény szenzor vezérel. Ezen felül Full HD felbontású is lett. Sajnos a Samsung nem szerelt a telefonba egy erősebb lapkakészletet, amely könnyebben kezelte volna a megnövekedett pixelsűrűséget. Ez a gyengébb játékteljesítménynél tetten is érhető, valamint az egyik oka lehet a rövidebb üzemidőnek. A kamerák ugyan nem bemutatódarabok, de elég fény mellett jó képeket készítenek. A Wi-Fi modul nem csak a jelenlegi összes szabványt támogatja, de a sebessége is jó. A belső tárhely 16 GB, amely átlagosnak mondható. A kapacitása viszont microSD kártyával bővíthető, anélkül, hogy a dual SIM képességet fel kellene áldoznunk.

A telefon külleme is javult, viszont a telep már nem kivehető. Cserébe ujjlenyomat olvasót és 3 GB RAM-ot kapott. Lesz olyan, akinek azonban a tavalyi modell jobban megéri.
