HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G
A HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G egy ARM-alapú, csúcskategóriás, nyolcmagos SoC okostelefonokhoz és táblagépekhez, amely 2019 végén mutatkozott be a Huawei Mate 30 Pro-val. Nyolc CPU magot integrál három fürtben. A teljesítmény fürt két Cortex-A76 magot tartalmaz 2.86 GHz-ig, az egyensúly fürt szintén két Cortex-A76 magot tartalmaz, de csak 2.36 GHz-ig, végül pedig az energiatakarékos fürt négy kisebb ARM Cortex-A55 magot tartalmaz 1.95 GHz-ig. Továbbá az SoC egy neurális processzort (2+1 mag) integrál AI feladatokhoz, valamint egy ARM Mali-G76 MP16 GPU-t 700 MHz-ig. A 4G verzióhoz képest az 5G Kirin 990 integrál egy Balong 5G-t, és az órajele valamivel magasabb (3 fürtből 2 és a GPU).
A Kirin 990 5G a modern 7nm-es (7FF+ és EUV) eljárásban készül a TSMC-nél, a 4G verzió pedig még mindig a valamivel régebbi 7 nm-es eljárásban Kirin 980-ként.
