Kritika elfogadva. A HP nem nyúlt a ZBook Studio G4 házához, inkább a belbecsre koncentrált. Az általunk most tesztelt modell azt mutatja, hogy ez jó döntés volt. A DreamColor kijelző remek, a hő- és zajkibocsátás egyaránt javult. Hosszú üzemidőre azonban senki ne számítson.

If you're a demanding power user, the HP ZBook is where the party's at. Between the Intel Xeon 1535M (7th Gen) processor and 32GB of ECC memory, it totally dominated our CPU benchmark. In addition to the powerful internals, the display is really colorful as well. It's also bright enough to easily combat glare and ambient light. Last but not least, the FastCharge feature is a blessing, as it reaches a full charge in a little under an hour. While there's a lot we like, we had a few gripes.

Though, I think if HP iterated on this design and made it a more gaming-focused laptop on the software side, it would have serious potential to take on other chic-looking laptops with real gaming chops, like Razer’s Blade 15 or the MSI GS66 Stealth. But for now, I suspect there aren’t many people who’ve been holding onto their cash, waiting for this exact kind of laptop to arrive. If you’re a serious gamer who’s looking for something reliable and great, you should get Asus’ ROG Zephyrus G15 that costs nearly $1,000 less. It doesn’t have a 4K OLED, but its specs are more balanced for performance and cost efficiency. The ZBook Studio G8 is too costly to recommend, but I’m nevertheless excited about the future of this lineup.

If you’re looking for longer battery life and just a scooch more power, the $2,999 MSI Creator Z16 is an option that’s loads cheaper. However, if you’re on the hunt for a durable, portable powerhouse the HP ZBook Studio G8 is the way to go.

The laptop boasts a strong build with a very smooth hinge mechanism, a modern design with thin bezels around the display, and comfortable input devices. The backlit spill-resistant keyboard has a long key travel and clicky feedback, and the glass touchpad is big and accurate, which is handy when you have to use the notebook whiteout an external mouse. The IPS display (BOE BOE0A4F) has a 16:10 aspect ratio (which is great for work because of the extra vertical space), wide viewing angles, a very good contrast ratio (16:10), and high maximum brightness. The thing that makes it good for content creation is the 94% sRGB color coverage and the lack of PWM usage.
