Convertible / 2-in-1 Kaby Lake Ultrabook

Még jobb, mint korábban. Ez a harmadik generációs modell egy pár új funkcióval bír a tavalyihoz képest, ilyen a NumPad, ujjlenyomat olvasó, keskenyebb keretek, és kicsivel nagyobb telep. A ventilátorai csendesebbek, a processzor pedig kevésbé melegszik fel. A készülék azonban nem lett sem könnyebb, sem vékonyabb.

Míg a legtöbb gép egyre vékonyabb és könnyebb lesz minden egyes generációval, a HP mert egy kicsivel vastagabb készüléket csinálni, és megérte nekik. A Spectre x360 15 harmadik generációja kevésbé melegszik, mint a tavalyi modell, többre is képes, és a mérete csak hajszálnyival növekedett. Ami talán a legjobb, a HP nem érezte szükségét a webkamera áthelyezésének, vagy az USB-A, teljes méretű SD olvasó, és a NumPad eltávolításának - ezek a munkához fontos dolgok. Ezt nem feltétlenül tudjuk elmondani a rivális notebookokról is, például a népszerű Dell XPS 15 9570-ről, vagy a MacBook Pro 15-ről.

Az, hogy nagyobb lett, mint a 2017-es Spectre x360 15, nem oldja meg azt a problémát, amellyel a Spectre x360 sorozat már 2016 óta küzd. Azaz, ezt a notebookot még mindig egy nehéz és kényelmetlen tablet módban használni. A felső kijelzőkeret még mindig elég széles a riválisokéhoz képest, és a HP-nak nem ártott volna a kijelző fényerején is javítani, hogy jobban használható legyen kültéren. Ugyanakkor, ennyit könnyen feláldozhatunk egy jól kivitelezett, remek gépért, amely képes felvenni a lépést az XPS 15 9575-tel és 9570-nel.

A 90 W-os Kaby Lake-R-es konfiguráció csendes és hűvös működése kíváncsivá tett minket a 150 wattos Kaby Lake-G változatra is. Érdekes lenne letesztelni, hogy hogyan bír el ugyanez a ház egy erősebb processzorral.

A 2017-es Spectre x360 15 egyike volt a legjobb 15 colos átalakíthatóknak, és a 2018-as változat sem rosszabb. Kedvenc kettő az egyben gépünk csendesebb, kevésbé melegszik, és többet tud, mint valaha. Akiket viszont eredetileg a Spectre x360 15 sorozat mérete és tömege tartott távol, valószínűleg nem gondolják meg magukat most sem.
