Ha a karcsú, kiváló minőségű, felső kategóriás notebookok mezőnyét nézzük, a Gigabyte Aero 15X és az Asus GM501 fej fej mellett haladnak. Mindegyik rendelkezik a saját előnyeivel és hátrányaival.

Míg a ROG Zephyrus M viszonylag jó hangot, és - az erősebb GPU ellenére - alacsonyabb hő- és zajkibocsátást kínál, a Gigabyte notebook jobb beviteli eszközökkel, több csatlakozóval, és sokkal hosszabb üzemidővel kecsegtet. A keskeny keretes, színhű kijelzőpanel is kiemeli a tömegből.

Ugyanakkor, a Gigabyte-nak kezdenie kellene valamit a zajjal. Jelenleg, az Aero 15X is elég jól hallható 3D alkalmazások futtatása közben, és ez egyes, zajra érzékenyebb vevőket elriaszthat. Az Intel hatmagosa a hűtőrendszert sokkal gyakrabban és gyorsabban a teherbírásának határáig erőlteti, mint az előd négymagos processzora tette.
