Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A Mate 10 család legkisebb és legolcsóbb tagja igazán érdekesre sikerült. Sajnos a kategóriájában nagyon erős a verseny, és a Mate 10 Lite egyetlen egyéni vonása a 18:9 arányú 5.9 inches kijelző. Ezen felül hibrid SIM, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB, microSD-vel bővíthető háttértár, és két dual kamerarendszer kapott helyet a telefonban. Összességében, a készülék a Nova 2 nagyobb változatának tűnik, és a Mate 10 Lite előlapi kamerája még jobban is tetszett, mint az előbbi készülék sok megapixeles szörnyetege.

A nevétől eltekintve, a Mate 10 Lite kevés dologban emlékeztet a Mate sorozat többi tagjára. Ennek ellenére egy meglehetősen jól sikerült készülék.

A panelméretét leszámítva a Huawei Mate 10 Lite nem sokban hasonlít a Mate család másik két tagjára. Hiányzik belőle az NFC, a telep kisebb, a lapkakészlet sokkal lassabb, a Leica kamerarendszer is kimaradt, az aptX támogatás szintén, és a Super Charge helyett csak QuickCharge képes.

Mindent egybevetve, ez még így is egy elég jó okostelefon, főleg azok számára, akik a masszív kijelzőket szeretik. A két nagyobb testvérhez képest kevesebb kompromisszum jobb lett volna, és az üzemidő úgy általában lehetne hosszabb.
