Az Acer Predator Helios 300 remek belépő szintű gamer gép. A 17 inches készülék egy gyors Intel Core i7-7700HQ-val, és egy Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060-nal van felszerelve, amelyek biztos alapot nyújtanak a mai játékok (natív) 1080p-ben történő futtatásához. A képkockaszám még maximális részletességen is rendben lesz. Az 1800 dolláros készülék 16 GB DDR4 RAM-mal és egy 512 GB-os NVMe SSD-vel is el van látva. Az Acer Predator Helios minden követelménynek megfelel, amelyet egy gaming laptoppal szemben támaszthatunk.
Az Acer Predator Helios 300 remek teljesítményt nyújt az áráért. A gyártó azonban a hangrendszerrel veszített jó pár pontot, az ugyanis nem illik egy gamer laptopba.
Összességében, az Acer Predator Helios 300 jó benyomást tett ránk. A ház stabil a vékony design ellenére, és a színválasztás a Predator-okhoz hasonlóan egyedivé teszi a megjelenését. A beviteli eszközök nagyon szimpatikusak voltak, és az Acer jó kijelzőt is választott.
A hangrendszer kissé kiábrándított, mivel az egy középkategóriás irodai gépbe illene, nem egy gamer notebookba. A kis szervizfedelek miatt a karbantartása is némileg kényelmetlen lehet. Egy nagyobb szervizfedél felhasználóbarátabb lenne.
