Ki találta fel? Az, hogy az Apple design nyelvezetéből ismert elemekkel találkozhatunk más gyártóknál, az nem újkeletű jelenség. A kínai gyártók ebben különösen messzire mernek elmenni. A Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro az Apple MacBook Pro-t követi, legalábbis megjelenésében. Az 1000 euró (~$1177) alatti árral a készülék egy vonzó ajánlat, amelyet négymagos CPU-val, dedikált videokártyával, és vonzó alumínium házzal láttak el. Vajon mi rejlik a külcsín mögött?

El kell ismernünk, összességében pozitívan csalódtunk a Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro-ban. A ház erősen emlékeztet egy bizonyos kaliforniai cég ikonikus dizájnjára. A kiváló kinézetű és minőségű alumínium ház strapabírónak, jól összerakottnak tűnik. Csak közelebbről megvizsgálva tűntek fel a kevésbé lecsiszolt élek az gép alján, valamint az, hogy sokkal hamarabb meglátszik rajta a használat.

A csatlakozási lehetőségek közül a Thunderbolt 3 hiánya némileg zavaró, az pedig idegesítő, hogy csak az egyik USB-C port használható töltésre. Frusztráló megoldás továbbá, hogy az összes USB-A a bal, és az összes USB-C csatlakozó a jobb oldalra került. Ez azonban személyes preferenciától és a használat körülményeitől is függ, így lehet, hogy másnak semmi gondja nem lesz vele. Az SD olvasó nagyon lassú, de a WiFi megfelelő sebességre volt képes. Elméletben azonban az Intel WiFi modem gyorsabb működésre is képes lehetne. Az opcionális második SSD beszerelésének lehetősége jó hír. Sajnos mindkét M.2 slot csak 2 PCIe sávot kapott, így viszonylag lassúak.

A Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro jól összerakott gép. Sajnálatos, hogy hivatalosan nem árusítják Kínán kívül.

A billentyűzet és touchpad kifejezetten jók. A gépelés csendes és kényelmes, a touchpad-en siklik a kezünk, valamint az ujjlenyomat olvasó is gyors és megbízható. Az egyetlen hátrány a QWERTY billentyűzet, amely éppenséggel nem mindenkinek jelent gondot. A kijelző elég világos és kontrasztos. A színhűség sem volt rossz, de azért nem árt neki egy kalibráció. Ugyan a Xiaomi is PWM-et használ a fényerő szabályozására, az extrém magas frekvencia miatt valószínűtlen, hogy ez bárkit is zavarjon.

Az Intel ULV négymagos processzora és az Nvidia MX150 GPU erős páros. Ezt azonban a Mi Pro sajnos nem tudta kiaknázni, és gyakorlatilag folyamatosan elmaradt az elvárásainktól. Úgy tűnik, hogy a Xiaomi még tartós terhelés esetén is a hűvös és halk működésre helyezte a hangsúlyt, nem pedig a nagy teljesítményre. Emiatt csak pár kisebb erőforrásigényű játék futhat rajta FHD felbontásban és magas részletességen, így a gamereknek nem ajánljuk, a Mi Pro határozottan nem gamer notebook.

A több, mint 10 órás üzemidő, amelyet a WiFi teszt során, 150 nits fényerő mellett elért, elég jó. A két Harman Infinity hangszóró pedig szintén remek.
