Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Összegzés - AMD számos előnnyel

A Lenovo ThinkPad T14s most AMD és Intel processzorokkal is érkezik, így rendkívül érdekesnek ígérkezik a készülékek összehasonlítása. A ház és a (nagyon jó) beviteli eszközök mindkét készüléknél azonosak, ahogy a jó LowPower (kis fogyasztású) 1080p képernyő. Viszont újra meg kell említenünk, hogy a Lenovo négy különböző szállítót használ a kijelző esetében, és nem tudhatjuk előre, hogy melyiket fogjuk kapni. Másrészt pedig a 4K képernyő az Intel modellekre van korlátozva.

A portok tekintetében is vannak különbségek, mivel az AMD konfigurációkból hiányzik aThunderbolt 3. Ez viszont várhatóan csak abban az esetben lényeges, ha külső videokártyát szeretnénk használni. A funkciókat illetően az AMD modell néhány előnye a HDMI 2.0, a Bluetooth 5.1 és a gyorsabb RAM.

A legnagyobb különbség a teljesítmény. Az üzleti laptopok még mindig az Intel Comet-Lake-U chipjeit használják a vPro támogatása miatt, így sem a CPU, sem pedig a beépített GPU nem tudja még csak megközelíteni sem az AMD új mobil CPU-it. Szinte kétszer akkora CPU teljesítményt kapunk, és még egy kis játszásra is van lehetőség a ThinkPad-en.

Sokkal nagyobb teljesítmény, és kevesebbe kerül: A ThinkPad T14s az AMD processzorral összességében jobb benyomást kelt. Főleg az oktatási modell rendkívül jól felszerelt, és nagyszerű ár-teljesítmény arányt kínál.

Az Intel modellhez képest két további hátránya van: A ventilátor terhelés alatt valamivel hangosabb, és alapjáraton a fogyasztása is valamivel nagyobb. Talán az AMD T14n-nek még mindig szüksége van némi optimalizálásra, amelyet megoldhatnak a hamarosan érkező BIOS frissítések. Ennek ellenére az üzemidő egyáltalán nem rossz. És akkor ott van az ár, és itt az AMD egyértelmű előnyben van. A legolcsóbb TopSeller készülékek árkülönbsége 150 euró, és a rés még nagyobb lesz, ha egy Core i7 konfigurációt szeretnénk kapni. Az általunk értékelt, Ryzen 7 Pro-val, 32 GB RAM-mal és egy 1 TB-os PCIe-SSD-vel felszerelt oktatási modell kitűnő ár-teljesítmény aránnyal rendelkezik 1399 euróért.

Ha nincs szükségünk Thunderbolt 3-ra, és 10 órás üzemidő nélkül is tudunk boldogulni, akkor jobban járunk az AMD-alapú ThinkPad T14s-sel. A valamivel jobb billentyűzetnek és a jóval nagyobb teljesítménynek köszönhetően T14s AMD-t a jelenlegi ThinkPad X1 Carbon generációval szemben is előnyben részesítjük.
