Review: HP ProBook 440 G5

Nagy testvéréhez hasonlóan a ProBook 440 G5 is jó ár/teljesítmény arányt nyújt. Sajnos a HP saját magának tett keresztbe, amikor hagyta, hogy a billentyűzet könnyen benyomható legyen.

Kezdjük azonban a pozitívumokkal: a ProBook touchpadjét kifejezetten szerettük, akárcsak a CPU teljesítményét, amely mérföldekkel a rivális Lenovo modellek előtt jár. A ProBook ezen felül valamivel jobb portválasztékot kínál, mint a ThinkPad E480, mivel nem csak VGA, HDMI és DisplayPort (USB-C segítségével) kapott benne helyet, hanem egy teljes méretű kártyaolvasó is. A nagyobb ProBook-hoz hasonlóan a hangszórókat, és a készülék bővíthetőségét is dicsérni tudjuk - bár a 2.5 inches hely kérdőjeles, mivel a kerete hiányzott. Sajnos ezzel végére is értünk az erényeknek. Ugyan a kijelző végre IPS panel, nem igazán tudjuk méltatni, mivel a fényereje alacsony. A ventilátor jelentősen zajosabb, és magasabb hangú, mint a ProBook 450 G5-é. Emiatt a hűtőrendszer és a kijelző sem erős oldala a készüléknek.

A billentyűzet egyértelmű csalódás volt, mivel benyomható. Ettől a gépelés nem éppen nagy élmény, ami egy irodai notebooknál komoly gond. A ProBook 450 G5 csuklótámaszának kivitelezésével is vannak gondjaink, pont azon a részen, ahol a kezünk nyugodna. Akármilyen jó a csatlakozóválaszték, a HP jobban is elhelyezhette volna őket. Az USB-C port például túlságosan előre került. A bővíthetősége jó, de a karbantartási lehetőségek lelombozók, mivel a telephez és a ventilátorhoz is nehézkes hozzáférni. Végül pedig a csak egy éves jótállást sem hagyhatjuk szó nélkül.

A ProBook 440 G5 jó választás lehetne, ha nem lenne gyenge a billentyűzete.

Összességében nem tudjuk ajánlani a ProBook-ot a gyenge billentyűzet miatt. Egy irodai notebook esetében elvárható lenne, hogy gépelés közben stabil maradjon, és itt nem ez a helyzet. Az éppen tesztelés alatt álló Lenovo ThinkPad E480  Intel GPU-s változata jó alternatíva lehet, illetve a Dell Latitude 3490 (teszt hamarosan).
