Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A HP Elite x3 egy masszív phablet, amelyet a HP nem véletlenül reklámoz tabletként. Funkcionális, robosztus designt és egy üzleti eszköz képességeit egyesíti magában. Az egészségügyi, logisztikai, POS, ipari szektorokat célozza meg, azon belül is olyan terepi dolgozókat, akiknek a lehető legegyszerűbb adatelérésre van szükségük, a lehető legkevesebb eszközzel.

Az utóbbi feladatot különösen jól sikerült teljesítenie a HP Elite x3-nak, mivel nem csak okostelefonként, de vékonykliensként, és - a Lap Dock segítségével - némileg korlátozott laptopként is használható. Ez utóbbi nem volt teljesen meggyőző a tesztjeink során. A kijelző elég sötét, és a színhűsége is lehetne jobb. A dokkolóval együtt járó extra csatlakozók viszont hasznosak, sokoldalú prezentációs eszközzé teszik az Elite x3-at. A Lap Dock-ba épített nagy telep is pozitívum.

A HP Elite x3 egy masszív phablet erős hardverrel, amely több üzleti szegmensben is jól használható eszköz lehet.

A HP Elite x3 nem rendelkezik komolyabb gyengeséggel, mivel átgondolt biztonsági funkcióit egy viszonylag stabil mobil platform támogatja: a Windows 10 Mobile. Amennyire kevéssé fontos a fogyasztói felhasználók számára ez az operációs rendszer, annyira hasznos lehet közepes és nagyobb cégeknek, mivel könnyen beilleszthető a meglévő IT infrastruktúrájukba, és üzemeltetni is egyszerű. Ezen felül rendszeres biztonsági frissítéseket is kap.
