A Latitude 7390 2-in-1 egy jól összerakott, strapabíró, vonzó gép, remek beviteli eszközökkel, és gyors rendszerrel. Ezen felül kiváló csatlakozókínálattal, kényelmes karbantartással és kategóriájában kompaktnak számító kivitellel örvendeztetett meg minket. A dupla háttértáröböl különösen lenyűgöző, amelyet az üres WWAN hely tesz lehetővé, ahová egy második M.2/NVMe 2230 SSD-t is be tudunk pakolni. Ugyan a CPU teljesítménye is kicsivel nagyobb, mint az előző generáció hasonló gépeinek, a tesztelésre kapott Core i7-es konfigurációt nem látjuk indokoltnak. Amennyiben nem egyszálas alkalmazások jelentik majd a fő feladatot, úgy az olcsóbb, Core i5-ös konfigurációt ajánljuk.

Egyébiránt a 7390 2-in-1 mellett több kérdőjel is lebeg. Kizárólag nem matt érintőkijelzőkkel kapható, és egyikük sem túl lenyűgöző színlefedettséggel bír—legalábbis nem a kategória olyan csúcsgépeihez képest, mint a ThinkPad X1 Carbon. Az NVMe SSD nem igazán összemérhető a többi, például a Samsung által gyártott hasonló meghajtókkal. A gép a méretéhez képest nehéznek tűnik, és a vastagabb, és viszonylag súlyos kijelzőfedélnek köszönhetően nem ül annyira stabilan az ember ölében, mint az ideális lenne. Végül pedig még mindig adott a kérdés, hogy vajon az üzleti életben a legtöbbeknek valóban szüksége van-e az átalakítható funkcióra, amelyet ezek a Yoga-stílusú gépek nyújtanak.
