A Gigabyte Aorus X9 DT 2018-as kiadása elég vegyes érzelmeket keltett. Igen, más felső kategóriás gamer notebookokhoz képest kellemesen karcsú (3 cm/~1/2 in), és igen, viszonylag könnyű is (3.7 kg /~8.1 lbs). Ugyanakkor ezeket a hűtés teljesítménye árán sikerült elérni.

A “Játék” mód bekapcsolásável, és egy kis túlhúzás mellett a 17 inches notebook olyan brutálisan hangos lett, hogy mindent elnyomott maga körül. Ezekkel a beállításokkal az Aorus X9 DT egy új rekordot állított fel, a többi gép esetében is lejjebb szorítva az elvárásainkat. Szerencsére a “Normál” és “Csendes” módok sokkal jobbak voltak.

Az extrém zajszintet nem számítva a Gigabyte elég jó munkát végzett. A mechanikus billentyűzet visszajelzése remek, az RGB háttérvilágítása pedig világos, így kellemes volt használni. A csatlakozókínálat megfelelő, van Thunderbolt 3 is. A 144 Hz-es kijelző a Core i9-8950HK-val, GeForce GTX 1080-nal, és az Nvidia G-Sync technológiájával kombinálva kiemelkedően teljesít.
