Különösen spórolósoknak. Az Amazon legújabb Fire 7 tablet generációja vékonyabb, könnyebb, jobb kijelzővel van felszerelve, és elvileg jobb üzemidőt kínál. Az ára viszont nem sokat változott, és így a 2017-es generáció is nagyon olcsónak számít. Tesztünkből kiderül, hogy megéri-e ez a belépő szintű tablet.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

49 dolláros, igen alacsony árát figyelembe véve a Fire 7 (2017) remek ajánlat. Némileg komolyabb frissítésben reménykedtünk, de a lassú lapkakészlet és belső tárhely, alacsony felbontású kijelző, valamint a csak 1 GB RAM maradtak. Annak ellenére, hogy az üzemidő és a színhűség jobb lett, a tablet összességében még mindig gyenge teljesítményt mutat.

A kérdés adott: mire jó a Fire 7 (2017)? A 170 ppi-s, alacsony felbontású kijelzőn hosszan olvasni nem kellemes. Nem elég erős játékok futtatásához, de még netezéshez sem. A filmnézés akkor lenne kellemesebb, ha az egyetlen, hátra felé néző hangszóró jobban szólna. Tehát, a fenti listán szereplő összes dologra lehet használni a Fire 7 (2017)-et, de komoly kompromisszumokra kényszerülünk.

A legújabb Amazon Fire 7 ismét csak a legszerényebb igényeket képes kielégíteni. Sajnos az Amazon nem hozta fel a mai szintre a tablet hardverét. Emiatt a Fire 7 (2017) mellett a legkomolyabb érv most is az ára lesz.
