Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A Samsung Galaxy A40 egy kompakt okostelefon az alsó-középkategóriában, és számos előnnyel rendelkezik az elődjéhez képest, a kitűnő teljesítménynek, az elegáns kialakítás és a változtatható kamerának köszönhetően.

Az összes többi, ebben az árkategóriában lévő okostelefonnak most versenyezni kell lennie az A40 kompakt felépítésével és alacsony súlyával, a robusztus és egyben kiváló minőségű házzal, és a nagy teljesítménnyel.

Néhány apró hátrány a sötét kijelző, az akadozó GPS vétel, és a hívás minősége, amely csupán középszerű. Viszont a kijelző nagy színtere, a dupla kamerarendszer változtatható fókusztávolsággal, és a szolid üzemidő biztosítja a Samsung Galaxy A40 egyértelmű ajánlását.
