A HP Pavilion 15t X7P44AV elfogadható áron kínál elég jó teljesítményt. A teljesen műanyag ház nem túl bizalomgerjesztő, és elriaszthatja azokat, akik egy jobb minőségű (alu) design-t szeretnének, de a hardver azért egészen ütős: egy remek, négymagos processzorral, 16 GB RAM-mal, két háttértárral, valamint egy GeForce GTX 1050-nel a rendszer lazán megbirkózik a mindennapi feladataival. Azok, akik pedig mindenes gépet szeretnének, a játékteljesítménnyel is meg lehetnek elégedve, mivel az X744AV könnyen maga mögé utasítja a GeForce 940MX-szel felszerelt belépő szintű versenytársakat.

Amint az elég gyakran megesik, a laptop főleg a kijelzőjével csúszik el. Alig 190 nit-es fényerejével igen sötétnek számít, valamint ennek nem tükröződő panelnek a színlefedettsége, és a színhűsége is gyenge. Ugyan a telep üzemideje javult az előző generáció óta, a szabadban dolgozni a fentiek miatt mégsem könnyű.  Az opcionális UHD panel valószínűleg többet fogyaszt, és a GPU-ra is nagyobb terhet ró, de amennyiben egy kicsivel is világosabb, úgy inkább azt javasolnánk.

A négymagos Pavilion-ok fő előnye a viszonylag alacsony ár: Intel Core i5-7300HQ CPU-val, 8 GB RAM-mal, GeForce GTX 1050-nel (csak 2 GB RAM ebben az esetben) és egy 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD-vel már 800 dollárért megkaphatjuk a notebookot.

Multimédiás, vagy takarékos játékos gépnek alkalmas választás lehet a HP Pavilion - feltéve, hogy a vásárló nem téveszti szem elől a hátrányait sem.
