Erős CPU, gyenge hűtés. A Celsius H970 lehet a Fujitsu utolsó 17.3 inches munkaállomása. Ennek elég indoknak kellene lennie, hogy a gyártó megpróbálja a lehető legtöbbet hozza ki belőle. Ehelyett sajnos két dologban is komolyat hibáztak. Cikkünkből kiderül, hogy melyek ezek.

Nem egyszerű kiszolgálni a munkaállomások piacát. Csak néhány gyártó rendelkezik elegendő tapasztalattal és megfelelő reputációval ahhoz, hogy ebben a "királyi" ligában játsszon. A Fujitsu közéjük szeretne tartozni. Ugyanakkor a Celsius H970-nel nem sikerült meggyőzően alakítania. A Fujitsu ugyanis egy olyan mobil munkaállomást alkotott, amely bizonyos területeken meglepően jó, míg másokban kifejezetten gyenge. A pozitívumok közé tartozik az üzemidő, amely több, mint megfelelő egy notebook munkaállomásnak. Ez is bizonyítja, hogy az újabb, takarékosabb négymagos processzorok már nem feltétlenül rontják le az üzemidőt. A kijelző fényereje is kiváló, a Celsius ebben is "osztályelső". A GPU teljesítmény szintén kiemelkedő, amely a hatékony GPU-hűtésnek köszönhető. Végül pedig a kiváló karbantarthatóságot kell megemlítenünk, mint a Celsius egyik erényét. Az egyetlen gond ezzel, hogy speciális kábelre van szükség a 2.5 inches meghajtók beépítéséhez.

Üzemidő és fényerő...vajon ezek a legfontosabb tulajdonságai egy laptopnak, amelyet méretéből és tömegéből adódóan csak néha pakolunk arrébb? Valószínűleg nem! Sajnos a Fujitsu viszont az ennél fontosabb területeken bukik el, ilyen például a CPU hűtése, amely a videokártyáéval ellentétben egyszerűen túl kevés. A gépet hangossá teszi, mivel szinte állandóan küzdenie kell, hogy bármennyire is hűteni tudja a processzort. Ennek ellenére a hőmérséklet miatti lefojtás elkerülhetetlen. A Cinebench teszt során már azelőtt bekövetkezik, hogy igazán terhelnénk a gépet, így a Celsius valószínűleg a mindennapokban sem képes kiaknázni a CPU teljes potenciálját. Emiatt a drága Xeon E3-1535M V6, amely a leggyorsabb Kaby Lake-es mobil CPU, a leglassabb lett. Ha ez még nem volna elég, a Fujitsu még egy nagy hibát vétett, amikor egy ugráló billentyűzetet épített a készülékbe. A kijelző pedig - bár világos - nem túl színgazdag, és nem fedi le az sRGB skálát sem. Nagyobb felbontású és színlefedettségű panel pedig nincs a Fujitsu kínálatában a notebookhoz.

Nem ment át: Míg a Fujitsu Celsius H970 rendelkezik erényekkel, a funkcióképtelen CPU hűtés nem illik egy mobil munkaállomásba.

A fentiek miatt a Celsius-nak nehéz dolga lesz az olyan, már meglévő riválisokkal szemben, mint például a ThinkPad P71, ZBook 17 G3, vagy Precision 7710. Egy jó értékelésre azonban ez is elég, de nagyrészt az új videokártyának köszönhetően.
