Another highlight is the high-resolution 4K touchscreen and thanks to its GTX 960M GPU, it should also attract gamers. Unfortunately, some issues affect the initial good impression.

On the other hand, ASUS ROG G551 offers better and more durable design, and has a very good choice of display (when compared to the Inspiron which has poor sRGB coverage). We can’t but mention the lack of PWM across all brightness levels – agreat advantage important for our health. All these characteristic features can help you decide which one is for you, and we shall continue with our battles between the most interesting and affordable gaming laptops.

The Inspiron 15 7559 is a very good premium multimedia laptop that you really can't go wrong with. Mind you, it is on the expensive side but we feel that the overall package should leave you satisfied. You get a great UHD display, beefy components, and a good set of speakers for all your multimedia needs. The laptop performs very well thanks to the included SSD, which has about enough capacity for the OS and one or two games. The laptop can handle most heavy games too, provided you don't play at the native resolution.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7559 is a mid-range laptop (£999) attempting to bring a 4K display to the mass enthusiast audience. However, the Inspiron has solid foundations aside from its glorious 4K display. The Skylake Core i7-6700HQ is a very powerful CPU, providing great results across our tests, including SiSoft Sandra and Cinebench R15. It certainly wipes the floor with my desktop Core i3-4160. One area that could be enhanced is the system memory. Presumably to keep costs down, Dell use older DDR3 RAM (PC3-12800) in the Inspiron instead of newer, faster DDR4 memory. It is not a huge problem as the system still performs very well, but DDR4 support would help provide extra security for those looking for a ‘future-proof’ laptop.

Végül jöjjön az összehasonlítás a versenytársakkal. Azt kell mondanom, hogy a Dell anyagminőségben, hűtésben, összeszerelési minőségben is az első helyre kerül az Acer VX, a Lenovo Y520 és a HP Pavilion mellett. Ha a 7567-be 1060-as VGA-t tennének, akkor bátran oda lehetne állítani akár a felsőbb kategóriás Y720 mellé is, megállná a helyét és egyenrangú ellenfele lenne. A saját kategóriájában most úgy tűnik, hogy a legjobb választás, amennyiben a tulajdonságait nézem. Ha mellé teszem az árat is, akkor már kicsit árnyalt a helyzet, hiszen például az Y520-at azonos hardverrel és IPS kijelzővel 20-30 ezer forinttal olcsóbban megkapjuk, mint a 7567-et. When they first appeared in the wild, people were amazed that such a finely crafted product could be made outside of the fruity confines of Infinite Loop. Over its lifespan, Dell has tweaked the design, updated the hardware, and, back in 2015, added the Infinity Edge display. This made a rather tempting piece of hardware extremely so—who can resist the non-Euclidean charms of a 13- inch display fitting inside an 11-inch case? Especially when said display is a beautiful QHD+ touch affair. Aesthetics aside, Dell’s other trick here has been its support of Linux on its hardware. Since its inception, the XPS 13 range has been available in a Developer Edition, which features identical hardware, but runs Ubuntu Linux.

The Inspiron 7567 is a mixed bag for Dell. It’s super affordable in most regions of the world and offers powerful hardware for the asking price but unfortunately for the OEM, there are other similarly priced rivals on the market delivering features that the Inspiron 7567 doesn’t. The main drawback of the machine is the lackluster TN panel which will be a deal-breaker for a lot of users. Simply, if you are into battery life and solid cooling performance, the Inspiron 15 7577 definitely is the choice for you. However, if image quality is your top priority, the Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition (VN7-593G) with full-fledged GTX 1060 goes around for just about the same price. A more gaming-optimized solution is the Lenovo Legion Y720 (although with unsatisfactory image quality again). You might want to consider the Acer Predator Helios 300, which sports a more powerful GTX 1060 but fails to impress with cooling performance. But in the end, it all goes down to what you are willing to sacrifice in this segment with GTX 1060 and 1060 Max-Q laptops and to this point, the best choice is probably the HP Omen 15 (2017) with GTX 1060 Max-Q, as long as you are willing to spend a little bit extra for the almost spotless IPS display (some of them ship with 120Hz refresh rate as well).

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 almost pulls it off. It has a sleek, understated design. Its all-metal chassis is thin yet solid. Its narrow display bezel makes the display look even larger than its 15.6 inches while keeping the body as compact as possible. The keyboard and touch pad are comfortable, responsive, and a joy to use.
