Összegzés - Mindennapi használatra a Core i3 a jobbik választás
Az új négymagos CPU teljesítményéről beszél mindenki, de ne feledjuk, hogy a MacBook Air még mindig elsősorban átlagos felhasználók számára készül, akik egyszerű munkaterhekkel dolgoznak. Ide tartoznak az olyan alapvető dolgok, mint az emailek írása, a videólejátszás vagy a webböngészés. A MacBook Air mindezekre kitűnően alkalmas, és ez a gyors SSD tárolónak is köszönhető. A korlátozott TDP konfigurációnak köszönhetően a belépőszintű MacBook Air még a feltehetőleg gyorsabb négymagos i5-tel is felveszi a versenyt, ha egymagos teljesítményről van szó, ami még mindig fontos a mindennapi feladatoknál. A kibocsátások terén is vannak egyértelmű előnyök, és főleg a ventilátorok sokkal csendesebbek, kisebb maximális sebességgel. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az i3-as MacBook Air hosszabb ideig csendesebb, még stresszhatás alatt is.
TAlapvető feladatok elvégzésére a kétmagos i3 processzoros MacBook Air a jobbik készülék. A szubjektív teljesítmény-benyomás ezekben a helyzetekben nagyon jó, a ventilátor csendesebb, emellett a jó kijelző és a továbbfejlesztett billentyűzet használata is kellemes.
Hátrányok még így is vannak, mivel az átfogó teljesítményszint egyszerűen nagyon alacsony. Ez nem lenne túl nagy gond, de miért nem sikerül az Apple-nek egy teljesen passzív hűtésű készüléket megalkotni? Egy csendes MacBook Air nagyszerű lenne, de az a gyanúnk, hogy az Apple szándékosan korlátozza az Air-t. Ez a lépés erősen spekulált ARM SoC-kkel rendelkező jövőbeni modellek számára lehet fenntartva.
Az ár egy másik probléma, mivel 1200 euróért jóval nagyobb teljesítményű Windows laptopokat vehetünk. Mégis, a minőségi háznak, a jó panelnek és a jó macOS-re való optimalizálásnak köszönhetően a MacBook Air egy nagyon kiegyensúlyozott csomag az alapvető feladatok elvégzésére. Akinek nagyobb teljesítményre van szüksége, vagy ha előre tudja, hogy gyakran fogja stresszelni a komponenseket, az szerintünk jobban teszi, ha átugrik az Air drágább, négymagos modelljein, és egyenesen a MacBook Pro 13-at veszi meg (vagy valamit, ami hasonlóan erős).
