Az AORUS X7 DT v6 az egyik legerősebb gaming notebook, amit a Notebookchecknél teszteltünk, és jelentősen könnyebb is a riválisok többségénél. A brutálisan erős NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080-nak és a feloldott szorzójú Intel Core i7-6820HK-nak köszönhetően — a Gigabyte kitűnő beépített vezérlőszoftverével -  az AORUS X7 DT v6 könnyen túlhúzható a bekapcsolás pillanatától is. Ennek, és a hatékony (és innovatív) hűtésnek köszönhetően gyakorlatilag minden benchmarkban hihetetlen pontszámot ért el: az általunk valaha látott egyik legjobbat.

Mindezt 3,25 kg-os tömeggel, és vékony, alig 30 mm vastag magnézium házzal hozza. Az X7 tényleg bármilyen játékot könnyen futtat, valószínűleg a legmagasabb beállításokkal és a panel 1440p-s felbontásában.A kijelző amúgy több szempontból kiemelkedő: bár csak egy átlag betekintésű és színhűségű TN panel, gyors válaszideje, 120 Hz-es frissítése olyan sima futást tesz lehetővé, amennyire csak a GPU renderelni bír. Ezen a területen egyetlen hiányosságot tapasztaltunk (amely egyes felhasználók számára komoly probléma lehet), ez pedig a kijelző technológiájából adódóan látható vízszintes vonalak a képernyőn. Ez csak állóképeknél feltűnő, mozgóképeknél nem ront a minőségen, legyen az videó vagy játék képe. Amennyiben ezt valaki nem ítéli túl zavarónak, az X7 meglehetősen jó videoszerkesztő munkaállomás is lehet.

A beviteli eszközök is igen jók, a szerelési minőség és ház stabilitás is kitűnő, és az egész gép általánosságban is tapintható előrelépésnek tűnik a korábbi Aorus készülékekhez képest. Ami hátránya van, az viszonylag kicsi és/vagy nem meglepő: a hangszórók kiábrándítók, bár egy kis hangolás a hozzá adott utófeldolgozó szoftverben, és máris elfogadhatóvá lehet varázsolni őket. A gép terhelés alatt meglehetősen zajos, de a felhasználó maga tudja beállítani a zaj/teljesítmény arányát a Gigabyte vezérlőszoftverével. Végül, az üzemidő sem túl jó, köszönhetően az alkatrészek magas fogyasztásának, és annak, hogy nincs váltható grafikus rendszer, de aki az üzemidő miatt szeretné megvenni az X7-et, annak javasoljuk, hogy értékelje újra az elvárásait és prioritásait.

Röviden, ez az egyik legjobb gaming notebook, amit valaha teszteltünk. Amennyiben az ár nem akadály, biztosan nem éri csalódás a vevőt.
