2022 nagyon érdekes évnek bizonyult a PC-rajongók számára. Láthattuk, hogy az Nvidia és az AMD bemutatta az Ada Lovelace és az RDNA 3 GPU-architektúrákat, míg az Intel és az AMD a Raptor Lake és a Zen 4 Raphael termékcsaláddal száll szembe egymással.

Az AMD Ryzen 9 7950X jó választás lehet mindazok számára, akik egy zászlóshajó mainstream asztali CPU-t keresnek a kreatív projektjeikhez, és nem akadályozza a játszást. A Ryzen 9 7950X a Core i9-13900K-val egyenrangú teljesítményt nyújt az általános CPU benchmarkokban. Egyenként bizonyos tesztek ugyan a Raptor Lake zászlóshajónak kedveznek, de a különbségek nem olyan drasztikusak, hogy valós helyzetben érzékelhetőek legyenek.

Összehasonlításképpen a Ryzen 7 7700X 25%-kal marad el a Ryzen 9 7950X mögött. Ez a 8C/16T chip viszont jobb teljesítményre képes, mint egy Core i5-13600K vagy akár egy Core i9-12900K, és ez elismerést érdemel.

Az AMD Ryzen 9 7950X és a Ryzen 7 7700X jelentős fejlődést jelentenek a Zen 3-hoz képest, és biztosítják, hogy az Intel Raptor Lake kínálata ne maradjon kihívás nélkül. A jelentősebb teljesítménycsökkenések nélkül kihasználható Eco üzemmód lehetősége a hab a tortán.

Mind a Ryzen 9 7950X, mind a Ryzen 7 7700X kiválóan alkalmas általános produktivitásra. Amikor a munkafolyamatok sok lebegőpontos matematikai feladatot tartalmaznak, a Ryzen 9 7950X jobb választásnak tűnik a Core i9-13900K-hoz képest, amint azt AIDA64 tesztjeink is bizonyítják.

Az Eco is üzemmód talán a legvonzóbb funkciója az AMD CPU-k ezen generációjának. Nem lebecsülendő a tény, hogy egy 65 W-os Ryzen 9 7950X modellel jelentős előnyt érhetünk el egy 241 W-os Core i9-12900K-val szemben. Azok a felhasználók, akik nagyobb energiahatékonyságot szeretnének a kevésbé igényes munkafolyamatokhoz, a Ryzen 9 7950X 65 W-on való üzemelését akár 47%-kal hatékonyabbnak találhatják, mint alapbeállításokon.

A Ryzen 7 7700X már önmagában is egy egészen hatékony chip, de a TDP 65 W-ra csökkentésével még így is érezhető energiamegtakarítást eredményez. A gamereknek nem kell aggódniuk amiatt, hogy alacsonyabb TDP-nél sokat veszíthetnek a teljesítményből, mivel az egymagos teljesítményt ez viszonylag kevéssé befolyásolja.

A Socket AM4-et felváltotta az új AM5 platform, amely natív DDR5 és PCIe Gen 5 támogatást hoz magával. Az Intel-lel ellentétben az AMD úgy döntött, hogy az AM5 kizárólag DDR5-öt fog használni. A DDR5-ért egyelőre többet kell fizetni, és eltart egy ideig, amíg az árak stabilabbá és a DDR4-hez hasonlóvá válnak.

Az alaplap cseréjével is számolnunk kell - az X670-es alaplapok árai gyakran 400 USD körül kezdődnek, a teljesen felszerelt X670E zászlóshajók árai pedig akár az 1200 USD-t is átléphetik, ami csak az alaplap. A jó hír azonban az, hogy az aktuális hűtőrendszerünk nagy valószínűséggel elfér, és a platform legalább 2025-ig támogatott lesz.

A Ryzen 9 7950X és a Ryzen 9 7900X, valamint a Ryzen 5 7600X és a Ryzen 5 7600X modellekkel az AMD eloszlatta azokat a félelmeket, hogy a „Raphael” Zen 4 lapkák esetleg nem érik el az Intel Raptor Lake szintjét. A Zen 4 vonzó frissítést jelent, az AM5 platformba történő kezdeti beruházás ellenére.

A Ryzen 7000 X3D chipek közelgő érkezése a következő hónapokban még inkább kecsegtető, és ezután már csak jobb lehet.

Ár és Elérhetőség

Úgy tűnt, hogy ezúttal az Intel volt előnyben az induló árakkal. A Core i9-13900K 589 dolláros áron indult, de jelenleg 660 dollárért érhető el. Az AMD Ryzen 9 7950X ezzel szemben 699 dollárért indult, de a 16C/32T-s behemótot most 574 dollárért lehet beszerezni a Best Buy-on és a Newegg-en. Az amerikai Amazon-on viszont úgy tűnik, hogy az ár 748 dollárra emelkedett. 

Indiában a Ryzen 9 7950X kezdőára ₹67,999, de most ₹62,749-ért kapható az indiai Amazon-on, más helyeken pedig körülbelül ₹58,000-ért.

Az AMD Ryzen 7 7700X a Best Buy-on és a Newegg-en szintén kedvezményes, 350 dolláros áron érhető el. Indiában a CPU kezdőára ₹39,499 volt, de az indiai Amazon-on és más áruházakban körülbelül ₹34,000-ért kapható.
