A HMD Global sok mindent jól csinál a Nokia 7.2-vel, de az okostelefonnak van néhány a részletekbe rejtett gyengesége a bizonyos területeken. Van egy teljes dual SIM opció és egy extra hely a microSD kártyának, de ez utóbbi exFAT támogatás nélkül. A kijelző világos és nagy kontrasztú is, de PWM-et használ. Az SoC sima rendszerteljesítményt nyújt, de már három éves. Főleg az elkövetkező frissítéseket figyelembe véve kérdéses egy ilyen régi processzor használata. 

A kamera szintén jól teljesít a tesztben, addig, amíg van elég fény. Ezen kívül egy kissé eltúlozza az optikát az újraélesítéssel. Az akkumulátor éppen elegendőre méretezett, de sok versenytárs, mint a Galaxy A50 vagy a Wiko View 3 Pro már rendelkezik 4,000 mAh-val, és ez észrevehető a mindennapi életben. 

A Nokia 7.2 tiszta Android élvezetet nyújt, és rendszeres frissítéseket.

Mindemellett a Nokia 7.2 nagyon sikeres továbbfejlesztésnek számít az elődjéhez viszonyítva, mivel sok minden történt, főleg az üzemidő terén, és a memória is kapott egy erős fűszerezést. És azoknak, akik értékelik a tiszta Android élményt, ebben az árkategóriában nem kerülhetik meg a Nokia telefont, mivel Android One-nal van felszerelve.
