The Prestige 16 AI Evo isn't an roaring-performance workstation or gaming rig, and a more supple keyboard and second USB-A port would be nice. But those are truly all the nits we can pick. It seems like only yesterday that a desktop replacement notebook with a screen this splendid would set you back $3,000 and be lucky to last six hours on battery power, but the MSI costs half that and runs three times as long. It earns an Editors' Choice award as a first-class value among modern desktop replacements.

The MSI Prestige 16 AI EVO B1MG is an excellent pick for anyone looking to buy a powerful 16-inch laptop with good battery life and a slim design. It also has a great keyboard, good touchpad, gorgeous display, and comes with plenty of RAM and storage. MSI’s design is dull and lacks a specific feature or flourish to help it stand out, but it nails the basics. MSI’s pricing is competitive, as well. Though certainly not cheap at $1,650, the Prestige is a bit less expensive than similarly equipped competitors like the LG Gram 16 and 17 or Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro. Despite that, the MSI is not at a disadvantage when compared against those laptops, which makes it a clear choice for budget-conscious buyers.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:

Intel Arc 8-Core: Xe LPG architektúrán alapuló integrált grafikus kártya (hasonló a dedikált Arc GPU-khoz, de a hatékonyságra helyezi a hangsúlyt). Mind a 8 Xe magot (128 Xe vektormotor) és 8 sugárkövetési egységet biztosít.

Intel Intel Graphics 4 Xe3: Az Intel Graphics 4 Xe3 a Panther Lake SoC-kbe integrált grafikus kártya 4 Xe3 maggal (32 EU / 512 ALU), 4 raytracing maggal és akár 2450 MHz-es órajelekkel.

Intel Raptor Lake-H:

i7-13700H: Alder Lake alapú mobil CPU 6 teljesítményű és 8 hatékony maggal. A teljesítménymagok hipersebességes szálkezelést kínálnak, ami 20 feldolgozható szálat eredményez. A CPU akár 5 GHz-es órajelen is járhat. Az i9-13900HK-hoz képest nem támogatott egyszerű túlhajtás, helyette viszont teljes vPro menedzsment funkciókészlet.

Intel Meteor Lake-H:

Ultra 7 155H: Egy csúcskategóriás Meteor Lake chip, amely 2023 decemberében debütált. Ez az 1. generációs Core Ultra processzor a 13. generációs Core chipek leváltására érkezett; 16 maggal (6 + 8 + 2) és 22 menettel rendelkezik. A Performance magjai, amelyekből 6 van, akár 4,8 GHz-en, míg a Efficient magjai, amelyekből 10 van (8 fő mag plusz 2 extra, amely a Low Power Islandben található), akár 3,8 GHz-en futnak.
