Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Az MSI's GS63VR Stealth Pro az elődjének jó továbbfejlesztése. A háza még vékonyabb mint korábban, és a GPU teljesítmény is drámaian megnőtt az Nvidia új generációs videokártyáinak köszönhetően. A gép még mindig eléggé melegszik, de általában kevésbé, mint a GS60. A notebook emellett képes kihasználni az alkatrészeinek képességeit, csak extrém terhelés, és telepről történő működtetés során esik vissza a GPU teljesítménye.

Az MSI ezen kívül egy kényelmes csomagot alkotott: jól összerakott ház, full HD panel, modern csatlakozók, és remek billentyűzet. A mellékelt szoftverek egy része hasznos lehet a gémereknek, és a többi specifikációja sem éppen rossz.

Jelenleg nagyobb teljesítményt kihozni egy ilyen vékony eszközből nem lehet. Az MSI GS63VR az egyik legvékonyabb 15 inches notebook a gémer szegmensben, de így is képes lépést tartani a testesebb riválisokkal. A ventilátorok sajnos kellemetlenül zajosak, és az akkumulátor üzemideje sem túl jó.

A melegedésen kívül a legnagyobb probléma a zaj. A ventilátorok terhelés alatt nagyon zavaróan hangosak, és a HDD még alapjáraton is folyamatosan hallható. Egyéb hátrányok felfedezéséhez kicsit közelebbről kell megszemlélni a gépet. Az alumínium ház stabilitása lehetne jobb, a képernyő elég sötét és pontatlan, a telep üzemideje a váltható grafikus rendszer ellenére is csak közepes, és a hangszórók sem kiemelkedőek. Egy jobb hűtéssel tovább lehetne növelni a grafikus teljesítményt is. Mégis: ha egy vékony gaming laptopot keres valaki, kiváló teljesítménnyel, és elsősorban headsettel tervez játszani, a GS63VR jó választás lehet.
