To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. A Lenovo Yoga 510-14AST a megfizethetőbb változata az általunk tesztelt Yoga 510-15IKB-nek. 500 eurós árával a Yoga 510-14AST jó 400 euróval olcsóbb a testvér modellnél. Az új Stoney Bridge APU valóban jó benyomást keltett: a CPU elég erős a tervezett felhasználásához (iroda, Internet), és a GPU képes versenyezni az  Intel HD Graphics 520 chipjével, és egy-két játékot simán futtatni.

A Yoga terheléstől függetlenül halk marad, és alig melegszik fel. Az SSD gyors működést biztosít a rendszernek. Azok, akiknek 128 GB kevés lenne, ki tudják cserélni az SSD-t egy nagyobbra. Ehhez a laptop alját kell megbontani. A beépített billentyűzet alapvetően jó, és gyakoribb gépelésre is alkalmas. A telep üzemideje viszont rövid.

A kijelző kiábrándító. A Lenovo felelős munkatársai valamiért úgy gondolják, hogy egy gyenge betekintésű TN panel jó választás egy átalakítható gépben.

Ezen felül még sötét és kontrasztszegény is, és gyárilag a színei sem jók. Ezzel a kijelzővel a Lenovo komolyan lerontja a készülék iránti szimpátiát. Ez azért különösen szomorú, mert ezt leszámítva egy jól átgondolt, eladható gépet tettek le az asztalra. Másik kijelző választására jelenleg nincs lehetőség. Érthetetlen módon a tesztünk idején az összes elérhető 14AST konfigurációban ugyanez a rémes kijelző volt.

Azok, akiknek a betekintési szög számít, kénytelenek az Intel-es Yoga modellt választani. A Yoga 510-14IKB 80VB0081GE 50 euróval kerül többe, és egy sokkal erősebb Core i3-7100U processzorral, valamint egy stabil betekintésű Full HD IPS kijelzővel van felszerelve. Emiatt semmi okunk az AMD-s modellt választani.
