Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A K6 egy nagyon jó, középkategóriás okostelefon, amelynek az áráért rengeteg mindent kapunk. Az 5 inches okostelefon jól összerakott darab, amely Full HD kijelzővel, LET-vel, jó 13 MP-es kamerával, ujjlenyomat olvasóval, valamint dual SIM képességgel érkezik. Dolby Atmos hangrendszert is kapott, és bár azért a K6-ból nem lett egy mobil koncertterem, mégis sokkal jobb minőségben szól, mint a legtöbb telefonba épített átlagos hangszórók. A hosszú üzemidő, világos kijelző, és a stabil betekintés teszi teljessé a pozitívumok listáját.

A Lenovo K6 olyan hardverrel rendelkezik, amelyet általában csak sokkal drágább középkategóriás okostelefonokban találunk meg.

Abban semmi meglepő nem lehet, hogy azért 200 euró (~$215) alatti ár esetén a képességek terén néhány kompromisszumos megoldás szükségeltetik. Bár a Snapdragon 430 jól teljesít, közepes teherbírásából következően a lapkakészletnek nem sok tartaléka van, és előbb-utóbb eléri képességei korlátait az újabb programokkal és játékokkal. A 16 GB sem éppen hatalmas tárhelykapacitás, jó eséllyel szükségünk lesz egy microSD kártyára bővítésképpen (legalább a 128 GB-os maximum bőségesnek mondható). Sajnos a tárhely ilyen bővítése eltüntet egy pozitívumot, ugyanis dual-SIM képességét hibrid foglalattal oldották meg. Az általunk mért 50 MBit/s-es WLAN sebesség sem lenyűgöző, de a technikai korlátokat figyelembe véve gyorsnak mondható. 

Egy szó az operációs rendszerről: az Android 6.0 Marshmallow meglehetősen friss Google OS, de azt még nem tudjuk, hogy vajon Android 7-re lehetséges lesz-e frissíteni valamikor. A Lenovo ugyanis hivatalosan nem nyilatkozott az ügyben, tehát csak netes pletykákra hivatkozhatunk, amelyek szerint az első, vagy második negyedévben várható egy Android frissítés.  Azoknak a felhasználóknak tehát, akiknek nagyon fontos lenne, hogy a telefonjukon Android 7 legyen, célszerű lenne kicsit késleltetniük a vásárlást.
