Honor seems to be going to war with the big boys in terms of design, quality, and pricing — so naturally there are options from both Apple and Samsung at the €599 (roughly $660) price point Honor has picked. Having used both an iPad Air and Honor's MagicPad 2 at home, and messed around with various Samsung Galaxy Tabs at trade shows, I genuinely prefer Honor's effort and could probably argue ways in which it can give an iPad Pro a run for its money. In summary, the display is beautiful, the speakers are superb, the office tools are class-leading, battery life is abundant, and the accessories enhance the experience — even if they do have their faults.

Honor Magicpad2 Review: A Surprise Alternative To Ipad Pro

This is a solid high-end tablet and I would recommend it to anyone. Honor seems to be going to war with the big boys in terms of design, quality, and pricing — so naturally there are options from both Apple and Samsung at the €599 (roughly $660) price point Honor has picked. Having used both an iPad Air and Honor's MagicPad 2 at home, and messed around with various Samsung Galaxy Tabs at trade shows, I genuinely prefer Honor's effort and could probably argue ways in which it can give an iPad Pro a run for its money. In summary, the display is beautiful, the speakers are superb, the office tools are class-leading, battery life is abundant, and the accessories enhance the experience — even if they do have their faults.

Both the OnePlus Pad 3 and the iPad Air are better choices if you want to get the most powerful performance for your money, but neither gets you the keyboard case and stylus for as little money as the Honor Magic Pad 3. Plus, the Honor is still a nippy performer, and will likely be plenty fast for most users. Beyond that, it offers some of the best battery life of any tablet around and an impressive seven years of software support, so it will last you a good long time in more ways than one. It’s still a shame that Honor chose to revert from OLED to LCD for the display, but there’s no denying that the Magic Pad 3 offers more than enough quality to make up for it.

Generally speaking, I like the Honor MagicPad 4. It’s a superbly put together all-round productivity tablet. It’s fast, the screen is beautiful and battery life is excellent. You even get a selection of reasonably useful software tools included – I particularly liked the ability to share files quickly with an iPhones, MacBooks and iPads. Is it a superior tablet than the iPad Pro? No, but it is a lot cheaper and the hardware is competitive. Is it better value than cheaper Android-based tablets such as the just-launched Xiaomi Pad 8? Not really, but it is a faster perfomer, it’s lighter and thinner, and it has a larger, more luxurious OLED display. In the end, however, it really depends what you want.

Qualcomm Adreno 750: Grafikus chip okostelefonok és táblagépek számára, amely a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC-be van integrálva. A Qualcomm állítása szerint 25%-kal gyorsabb, mint a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-ben lévő Adreno 7340, és az első benchmarkok azt mutatják, hogy a GPU képes legyőzni a Apple A17 Pro iGPU-t.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8:
SD 8s Gen 3: A 2024-ben bemutatott, okostelefonokba szánt csúcskategóriás SoC (System on a Chip). Többek között egy gyors, akár 3 GHz-es Cortex-X4 "Prime Core" és további 4 gyors, 2,8 GHz-es Cortex-A720 magot integrál. Az energiatakarékosság érdekében további 3 darab 2,3 GHz-es ARM Cortex-A520 magot is beépítettek. Integrálva van egy 5G modem, WiFi 7 és egy jelentősen gyorsabb AI motor.
SD 8 Gen 3: A 2022 végén bemutatott, okostelefonokba szánt csúcskategóriás SoC egy gyors, akár 3,2 GHz-es órajelű ARM Cortex-X3 architektúrán alapuló elsődleges maggal. Két további teljesítményű mag az A715-ön alapul, és szintén csak 64 bites alkalmazásokat támogat. A két további A710-es mag szintén 32 bites alkalmazásokat támogat, akárcsak az energiatakarékos Cortex-A510-es magok. A processzormagokon kívül a SoC egy WiFi 7 modemet, egy Hexagon DSP-t (az AI gyorsításhoz) és egy Spectra ISP-t is integrál.
