Érdekes. 2016-ban nem esünk hanyatt egy 8 hüvelykes Windows tablettől amely Windows 8.1-gyel és Bay Trail processzorral érkezik. Kiváltképp, hogy az eszköz a profi felhasználókat célozza. Mindazonáltal megragadó tud lenni, amit nem utolsó sorban a hosszú akkumulátoros üzemidőnek, az integrált 3G modemnek, valamint a havi adatkeretnek köszönhet.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.
Screen flickering / PWM detected 378 Hz ≤ 40 % brightness setting

The display backlight flickers at 378 Hz (Likely utilizing PWM) Flickering detected at a brightness setting of 40 % and below. There should be no flickering or PWM above this brightness setting.

The frequency of 378 Hz is relatively high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering. However, there are reports that some users are still sensitive to PWM at 500 Hz and above, so be aware.

In comparison: 51 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 9394 (minimum: 43 - maximum: 142900) Hz was measured.

Display Response Times

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

A HP Pro 408 G1 tabletje főleg a professzionális felhasználókjat veszi célba. A fedélzeti processzor megfelelő az alapvető feladatok - az irodai szerkesztés és internet böngészés - ellátásához. A tablet hangtalanul üzemel és alig melegszik fel rutinszerű használat közben. Az akkumulátoros üzemideje jó, ráadásul 3G-s modem is tartozik hozzá 3 évig tartó 200 MB-os adatkerettel. A kijelző is kedvünkre vált: magas fényerő, kiváló betekintési szögek és kontraszt jellemzik. Sajnos a HP csak 12 hónap garanciát vállal a termékre.

Mindent összevetve a HP egy érdekes készülékkel állt elő. A Windows 10-re való frissítés lehetősége (ingyenesen), a 3G modem (beépített adatkerettel), a 64 GB belső tárhelye, a tisztességes akkus üzemidő valamint az opcionális érintőtoll még a magán felhasználóknak is vonzóvá tehetik. A magas árazása azonban sokakat elrettenthet a vásárlástól.
