HP EliteBook 850 G3 notebook rövid értékelés

Kijelző: elégtelen. A HP-nek sikerült újfent egy tisztességes, közép-felső kategóriás üzleti notebookot letennie az asztalra az új EliteBook 850 G3 személyében. Sajnos azonban a vállalat nagy hibát követett el a kijelző megválasztásakor, amivel sajnos sokat ront az egyébként jó benyomáson, amit az eszköz kelt.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

A HP most is jó minőségű fém burkolat mögé rejti az EliteBook 850 G3-ba pakolt technológiát. Az eszköz megjelenése elegánsabb az elődnél, hála a karcsúsított vonalainak. A diétának azonban megvan az ára: a karbantartó nyílást kukázták, aminek folytán meg kell bontanunk a burkolatot tisztításkor/fejlesztéskor. Az EliteBook Skylake processzorral henceghet, ami bőségesen elegendő a legtöbb felhasználási módban. A laptop mindig halkan üzemel és egyúttal nemigen melegszik. A gép tovább bővíthető egy másik 2,5 colos meghajtóval. Az EliteBook G3 beviteli eszközei is megragadóak. A laptop billentyűzete terjengős irományokhoz is megfelel. A kiváló akkus üzemidő nagyon jól kiegészíti e téren. Sajnos azonban már nem erősíthető extra akku a gép aljára, ahogyan azt az előddel tehettük.

Az EliteBook 850 G3 egy kiváló minőségű irodai eszköz azoknak, akiknek nem kell az aprót számolgatni. Azonban hiába a borsos ár, vannak gyenge pontjai a gépnek. Azok akik értékelik a könnyű karbantartást és fejlesztést, vagy nem szeretnének lemondani a második akkumulátor lehetőségéről, lehet hogy jobban járnak az EliteBook 850 G2-vel.

Sajnos a HP megismétel egy tipikus HP gyengeséget: a kijelzőt. Azok a vásárlók, akik 1500 eurót fizetnek egy laptopért elvárhatnák, hogy egy ragyogó kijelző előtt ülhessenek. Azonban ez nem így van. A kijelző legjobb tulajdonsága a matt felülete. A fényereje elégségesnek mondható, azonban a kontrasztja és a színhűsége semmi esetre sem. Még tovább rontja a helyzetet, hogy a kép erősen függ a nézőponttól.
