A Dell Latitude 14 5414 egy masszív 14 colos munkagép, amit kedvezőtlen környezetbeli használatra terveztek. Számos ipari szabványnak megfelel. Nem egy teljesen új termék, mivel a már tesztelt Dell Latitude 14 5404-esnek ugyanaz a háza, igaz van néhány apró újítás a gép külsején. Ami a hardvert illeti, a processzort Skylake-ra frissítették, valamint választható hozzá Radeon grafikai processzor. Ennek köszönhetően az 5414-es az elődjénél jobb teljesítményre képes. Ehhez hozzájárul a gyors SSD is. A megnövekedett teljesítmény ellenére az akku élettartalma nagyszerű és a zajszintet is sikerült kordában tartani. Nagyon tetszett még a kényelmes, háttérvilágítással rendelkező billentyűzet. Az IPS kijelző fényesebb, mint az előd HD kijelzője, valamint a kontrasztja is jobb. Kültéri használatra is megfelel.

A Dell Latitude 14 5414 a tervezett alkalmazásokhoz megfelelően fel van szerelve

Kritikát is megfogalmazhatunk, ezen az árszinten ugyanis már több mindent elvárhatunk. Például a 128GB-os SSD nagyon kevés, ugyanazt mondhatjuk a RAM-ról, 16GB lenne a minimális elvárás. Az új, modern csatlakózok is hiányoznak: Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort vagy a C típusú USB.
