The basic version of the new MacBook Pro 16 is equipped with the full version of the Apple M3 Pro, although it doesn't offer much performance compared to the M2 Pro. On the other hand, the entry-level SSD has become faster again, and the maximum SDR brightness gets increased too. In addition, power efficiency improvements allow for an extremely long battery life.

It clearly visible that this laptop is tuned for maximum performance and comfort. That comes at a price of higher CPU temps under longer loads. However, the keyboard only gets warm but not hot which is good news. The build quality is outstanding!
