A legújabb Blade 16 elhagyja a Zen 5-öt a Panther Lake javára. A végeredmény egy jobb gép, még ha a nyers CPU-teljesítmény ezúttal lassabb is.

A 2026 Blade 16 most szállítják a tavalyi 2025-ös Blade 16 utódjaként. Az új modell ugyanazt a külső kialakítást használja, de egy Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra 9 386H CPU-t használ, amely az eddigi AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 helyett.

Az Intelre való váltás néhány azonnali előnnyel jár. Elsősorban a Blade 16 USB-C portjai mostantól támogatják a Thunderbolt 4 és Thunderbolt 5-öt, míg az AMD-alapú Blade 16 SKU-kon ugyanezek a portok csak USB4-esek. Másodszor, a fedélzeti memória sebessége gyorsabb, 9600 MHz, szemben a 2025-ös Blade 16 8000 MHz-ével.

Az Intel-alapú Blade 16 további előnyei közé tartozik a hosszabb akkumulátor-üzemidő, a sokkal fényesebb OLED-panel (DisplayHDR500-ról DisplayHDR1000-re) és a maximális TGP-erősítés enyhe emelése 160 W-ról 165 W-ra. Mindkét változás kis mértékben, de következetesen javítja a játékélményt.

Az Intelre váltás azonban nem csupa rózsa. Amint az alábbi benchmark-összehasonlításokból kiderül, a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 a hagyományos többszálas munkamenetekben némileg felülmúlja a Core Ultra 9 386H-t. Az Intel Blade 16 ennek ellenére a játékhoz a gyorsabb gép, mivel a mi áttekintésünkből kiderül.
